The water would be piped from the spring source (Section 15.T2N, R4W, USM) across National Forest, private, and tribal lands to serve the communities of Altamunl, Altonah, Bluebell, Bon-ctMt. Emmons, Mt. Home, and Tabnage. Spring development will consist of opening up the spring, putting in a collection system, protecting the area by fencing, and constructing a 12 inch diameter pipeline from the spring to various points, of use. The pipeline will cross the Yellowstone River in two locations. Most of the pipeline location will be parallel to the existing Yellowstone a, Canyon road. an analysis of this proposal is being conducted by die Forest Service and the proponent.
