The Mechams remembered receiving the first billing for the two after 20 days of hospitalization. Liana said they received a small book in the mail, listing the charges fur each one and they amounted to $19,500 for Sarah and just over $20,000 for Cindi. Before they were released to go home the two babies cost just under $100,000. Liana said they outgrew several sets of clothes before they were released, as they started to grow and develop more.
