According to one bank official they are already serving many customers who will be moving into the Union Pacific development. The industrial park is seen as having great potential because of its proximity to the airport and railroad tracks. In its application for permission, the bank estimated it is presently servicing SI. 8 million in deposits and $3.0 million in loans for customers in the proposed service area. Manufacturers Slate 72nd Annual Luncheon At its 72nd annual mem- bership luncheon, Jan. 14 the Utah Manufacturers Association will present as their featurered speaker R. Heath Larry, board chairman of the National Association of Manufacturers, and vice chairman, board of directors of United States Steel. More than 200 Utah business and civic leaders arc expected to attend the annual luncheon, according to association president Ernest Mariani. In American industry, Mariani said Mr. Larry is best known for the role he played for many years in national negotiations with Union as a member of the bargaining team representing the major steel companies. He served as cheif bargainer for the major steel firms during the last contract settlement.
