Show Hoffman Gets TECOMPost ABERDEEN - PROVING WAC Major GROUND, MD. Betty C. Hoffman has been named chief of the Military Person-jiDivision, U. S. Army Test and Evaluation Command, Aberdeen Proving Ground, MA el SHE REPLACES WAC Lieu- tenant Colonel Imu V. Bouton who retired here last month. A resident of St. Louis, Ma, Maj. Hoffman completed a year tour of duty in Hawaii before coming to the proving ground. She was adjutant of the area command at Schoffield Barracks from 1965 to June 1967. In her new post, the major beads one of the principal divisions of the command's Personnel and Training Directorate. She is responsible for directing a military personnel program involving approximately 7,000 troops at 15 proving ground, environmental test centers and service test boards in the United States, Panama and Alaska. MAJ. HOFFMAN was educated in St.' Louis where she graduated from Soldmn High School and Washington University. She holds a bachelor of science degree in education and an M. Stateside assignments have in- cluded a recruiting billet in Indianapolis, instructor duties at the WAC Center, Fort McCtellan Ala., a command at Fort Mason, Calif., as well as duty with Fifth Army headquarters in Chicago and Redstone Arsenal, Ala.
