Show I Farm Bureau Idaho Amendments To Be Explained Daniel Seeks Top Young Farmer The Farm Bureau of Franklin and Caribou counties are searching for the outstanding young farmers of the two counties, as part of a new Farm Bureau national contest. According to Douglas Fors-grechairman of the Franklin, county Young Farmer committee, this will be the first year for the contest. It will be conducted on a county, district, state and then national basis. Young farmers and ranchers who are Farm Bureau members from 17 to 30 years of age and who are full time farmers or ranchers are eligible to enter, according to Forsgren. Forms for the contest are available through the Farm Bureau organizations of the two counties or through Forsgren in Franklin county. The purpose of the contest is to promote the role of the young farmer and rancher. The Young Farmer and Rancher program is vital to the Farm Bureau in Idaho, Forsgren said. Please support it, we need your help. We get no more out of an organization than we put into it, he added. The deadline for submitting applications will be sometime this month. The date will be announced later. Winners of the county contests will compete in County that a THURS., Assignment NATIONAL MEAT PACKERS TRAINING 3435 Broadway Kansaa City, Mo. 54111 ATTN: Dept. Baby Blessed Politically Speaking By JOHN CORLETT Statesman Political Editor This is the year women moved into high level positions in political campaigning, at least in the Democratic Party. For years women have done the menial tasks for candidates and for political parties. But in this year of 1972 women are out in front for the first time in my experience and it is not because of womens liberation either. It is an axiom that women work harder in political campaigns that do men. They do canvassing, typg and organizing, ing. The truth of the matter is that they can run a campaign ' headquarter better than men, because they have their fingers on the organization. The one male exception is William S.
