THE CITIZEN 5, 1972 Area Group To Attend Meet Mrs. Thedora Petterborg, club leader for the Franklin County D.C. or Bust Citizenship Club, and Susan Lewis, president, MaraLu Egbert, vice president, Christine Bodily, secretary and Peggy Heath, reporter, will attend the Idaho Pride Meeting Friday and Saturday of this week at Lake Shore Lodge at McCall, Ida. The schedule calls for a noon luncheon at Lake Shore Lodge with afternoon speakers and Thirty five Idaho county delegations will be present at the meeting and will report on projects carried in their county to help beautify or improve the environment in the county. The Franklin County citizenship group assisted with the preparation and planting of the lawn in June, 1972, in front of the Robinson Community Building at the Franklin County fairgrounds. This included leveling of trenches, preparing the . discussion groups. This will be awards banquet followed by at the Lodge Friday night. On Saturday morning the group will have a of Cascade Club Camp to observe a camp an on tour 4-- H' beautification program. After lunch at the Cascade Camp, the group will return to Preston Saturday evening. Man Gets By Marie Llndhardt - Airs. He and his wife, Cecile, have four sons, Brian and David, who are serving LDS missions in Texas and Louisiana ; Steven, a student at BYU, and Paul, who lives at home. He weighed five pounds 13 ounces and will be named Kendrick Bert. The new mother is the firmer Ann Snyder of Meeteetsee, Wyo. Grandparents for the time are Mr. and Mrs. Henry A. Ashcroft. They went to Salt Lake City the new baby. Wednesday to third see Mr. and Mrs . Clyde Gondie of Alhambra, Calif., also have a new baby daughter, their first, and she was born Sept 20 and weighed seven pounds. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Angus Condie. FABRIC Peterson is, Minn., visited Mr. and Mrs. Delbert Keller Wednesday. Sunday the Kellers were dinner guests at the home of their daughter and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Tom Haworth of Franklin. Mrs. Lenna Christensen has been confined to bed for the past three weeks with pneumonia. Her son Vance and family of Provo visited with her Saturday. Sunday her mother and husband, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Tanner of Riverdale, called on her. Clynn Keller of Ricks College spent the weekend with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Delmer Keller. Mr. and Mrs. Reed Jensen attended the funeral for her uncle, Seren Jasperson, in Salt Lake Saturday. The retiring PTA officers of Preston Elementary School took their husbands to dinner at Sherwood Hills one night last week. They included Mr. and Mrs. Glen Keller, Mr. and Mrs. Don Martin and Mr. and Mrs. Deon Kingston!. The girls volleyball team, under the direction of Mrs. Geralyn Keller went to Treas-ureto- n Saturday where they won their first game. Mr. and Mrs. Lee Jepsen and family spent Sunday with their son Darrel and family of Ucon. Mr. and Mrs. Gary Smith of Ogden and Mr. and Mrs. Glade Larsen and daughter of Salt Lake spent the weekend with their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Monte Larsen. They were able to attend the naming of both. Mr., and Mrs. Vaughn Larsen and Mrs. Dorthea Bell of Ogden spent Saturday at their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Norman Larsen, picking fruit. Blaine Larsen was recently sustained as first counselor in the bishopric of the Seattle Ninth ward. Visitors during the week at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Orlando Rasmussen were Mrs. Beth Conlin and daughter of Cleveland, Michael Jepsen of Dayton, Kendall Rasmussen of KaysviUe, Mr. and Mrs. Paul Bennett and family of Kays-villand four of Mr. Rasmussens sisters, Mrs. Charity Larsen of Roy, Mrs. Chasta Campbell and Mrs. Devella Marchent of Salt Lake City and Mrs. LaVell Morgan of Idaho Falls. Saturday the Rasmussens visited in Preston with her sister, Mrs. Anna Wilde. Sunday they were dinner guests at the home of their daughter and family, Mr. and Mrs. Claude Conlin of Cleveland. YARD PLAIN TERRY CLOTH AND Mrs. Horace Owen entertained at a birthday dinner Sunday for her husband. Their children and families who came fir the occasion were the Reese Goodwin family of Provo, Reed Owen family of Logan, and Mr. and Mrs. Roger Owen of Rexburg. Their father received gifts and a birthday cake centered the table. In the afternoon, a nephew, Brent Wagetaff and wife and family of Ogden, called at the Owen home.
