Show Couple Vacations In Washington TRENTON Glen and Note Griffin returned Saturday evening from an automobile trip to Seattle, Waih., where they attended a convention for Fuller Brush. Their three daughters, Barbara, Ellen and Saralyn, stayed with Mr. and Bin. Edward Lee Cottle iff Ammon, Ida., while they were gone. Mr. and Mn. Reed Rawlins spent the weekend at Lima, Mont., with Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Gleason. Their son Drew stayed with his sister, Alaine Carter of Corinne, Ut. Ted and Jill Andrew entertained a group of 18 young people at the home of their parents, Mr. and Mrs. Merlin Andrew, Friday evening. Supper was served and various games played. Mr. and Mn. Lavor Hatch and bom Kent and Blake were Sunday visiton of their son, Mr. and Mn. Wade Hatch, at Park City. Lula Lott, Nola Griffin and Meiva Cottle gave a musical program at Hyrum Tuesday morning for the opening social of Relief Society. Their accompanist was Norma Reeder and narrator was Ethel Rawlins, who also gave a comic reading and several Jokes. On Friday night, Lula Lott and Meiva Cottle, accompanied by Norma Reeder, also presented a program in Clarks ton, with Ethel Rawlins as emcee, and she also gave a reading. Norma Reeder and Sharon Spackman played a piano duet. At fast meeting Sunday the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Bart Lott was blessed and given the name of Christopher Bart by his grandfather, Melvin Lott, assisted by the father and the bishopric. Mr. and Mrs. Dale (Vickie Merrill) Noble had their infant son blessed by Charles Spackman and given the name of Keith Dale. The grandfather, Melvin Noble, and the bishopric assisted in this ordinance. Roger Spackman was voted to become a priest, and his brother Dennis was selected to be second counselor in the Teachers quorum. Carolee Becks tead was released as assistant chorister of the Sunday School and sustained as a Sunday School teacher. Ruth Spackman was released as a Sunday School teacher, Valene Butters was sustained as assistant chorister in the Sunday School. Ladawn Miner was sustained as Webelo leader and Louise Peres as a Den Mother in the Cub scout program. Mrs. Velma Allred and daughter Illona of Deitrich, Ida., visited Tuesday and Wednesday with her mother, Mrs. E. W. Bingham. Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Grant and son Mark, his mother, Hedvig Bingham, and Mr. and Mrs. Verrall Brown were among those from Trenton attending the funeral services for Ethieen Grant's father, Mark L. Johnson of Layton. There were eight brothers and sisters, and three present at the funeral. Mrs. Violet Hauser of Filer, Ida., came Saturday to take her mother, Mrs. Selma Atkinson, back with her for a visit. She was the house guest of her brother, Mr. and Mrs. Joseph E. Atkinson. Mr. and Mrs. Julius P. Jensen and Mr. and Mrs. Paul Jensen attended meeting at Amalga to assist in blessing the infant son of Mr. and Mrs. William Jensen, who was blessed by his father and given the name of Christopher Mark. The other grandfather, Paul Mathys, and uncle, Heinz Mathys, and the bishopric also assisted. A family dinner was held at the Jensen home Sunday afternoon. step-siste- Mrs. Helena Andrew announces the arrival of a baby son born to her daughter and her husband, Marion and Dennis Layne, of Lewiston Thursday. Mr. and Mrs. Donald L. Andrew and daughter Tess of Rockford, Ida., visited in Trenton Sunday. They are former Trenton residents.
