Poling and Cleave alternate working Thursdays at the Duchesne Valley Clinic. They see between 60 and 80 patients per month. The teams received three superiors and six exrellents, coached by Donna Barton. Jill Christensen and Sherry Mecham received a first place with a superior rating in scenes from plays. In dramatic reading, LoAnn Walker was rated superior, and Denise Warr was rated superior in humorous reading. The once act play, Once Upon a Meadow Green," was rated third with an excellent rating. Terril Pohlsander received an excellent in mono neling. In pnntomine, Lee Ann Lamb, Lisa Walker. Sonja Tidwell, and Kenn Miles were rated excellent. The improvisation troupe of Mack Fields! ed. Terri Kofford. Tom Beals and Ron Farnsworth earned an excellent rating, and Iee Allred received an excellent in humorous reading. Others participating in the state drama meet were: Mickey Fieldsted, Tony Fieldsted. Rick Oman, Debbie Warr, and DeVon Rowley. Alternates were Scott Mohlman. Julie Tucker, Diana Roberts, Linda Goodrich, David Taylor, Evon Farnsworth, and Ellen Christensen. Ron Remington, David Barton, Taylor, Bruce Thacker, Jim Thayne, and Greg Sorenson. The play was written by Cindy Coombs, Altamont. In scenes from plays, five Longhorns received excellent ratings: Janae Tucker, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Heber Moon had son blessed in the LDS Church in the Bridgeland Ward Sunday, and gave him the name of Craig Lee Moon. As requested by Dora Curry, school lunch supervisor, the board authorized the advance purchase of $12,000 worth of food stuffs for fiscal year 1978. Consider- - The board of education discussed the need to establish a five year building plan in the near future at last week's regularly scheduled meeting. They also intend to develop a long range plan for the improvement of the schools' grounds. School principals are currently working on prioritized lists of campus improvement projects needed on their school ground.
