Meetings were held in Tabiona, My ton, sion 4-- The I (uchesne District BSA will hold its annual spring camporee June 6,7 and 8 at the head of Blue Bench. The site is located west of the highway and north of Duchesne about 7 miles. Theme for the camp will he based on advancement as three merit badges will be taught there. Seoul s who intend to participate are required to submit a merit badge slip signed by their respective merit badge councilors indicating that they have first visited the councilors and are ready to take instructions on the merit badge. Rifle and shortgun shooting, first aid and geology are the badges involved with surveying as an alternate badge. The purpose of the meetings was to discuss the power that can have in a community with the support of parents to 4-- h 4-- Hcr's and leaders. Enrollments were made. Jobs are available for youth in the basin area A program to furnish summer jobs for youth of low income families in Duchesne County is now available and young men or women between the ages of who desire work can make $2 an hour, working as secretaries, janitors, doing city work, or landscaping and other related jobs. Only public organizations are eligible to use the service of youth in these positions.
