Mrs. Ethel Taylor, Rangely was an overnight guests at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Lorin Alexander May 27. Visiting over the weekend at the Hor-rot-k- Mr. and Mrs. DeNile McKenna, Hunter are the parents of a baby boy born May 21. The grandmothers are Mrs. Gilbert Ellingford and Mrs. Clifford McKenna. Mr. and Mrs. Clair Larsen went to Provo May 24 to attend the funeral for their brother in law, Milton Fisher. Mrs. Fisher is the former Louise Larsen. Mrs. Clista Angus spent May 24 in Riverton visiting with Mr. and Mrs. Kent Angus and in Salt Lake. Word was received May 23 of the death of Mrs. Kenneth (Vida) Simmons in Phoenix. Funeral services were held at the Roosevelt mortuary May 27 at 11 a.m. Mrs. Gilbert Ellingford received a letter from the mission president saying Elder Tom Ellingford had been made district president of district No. 2 of the Cumorah mission. Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Jenkins, Mr. and Mrs. David labrum and Mr. and Mrs. Larry Labrum returned home May 23 from Las Vegas where they attended a Ford lease and rental meeting. Mr. and Mrs. Blaine Turner and daughter Angelia, San Jose, Calif., visited over the weekend with Mr. Turner's sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. Duane Hamblin. Mr. and Mrs. Rick Hardy are the parents of a baby boy born May 22. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. Donald taris and Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Raslian. Jolene graduated from Union High School in 1969. She also graduated from Utah Technical College at Salt take City in cosmetology and from the Utah Technical College at Provo in Executive Secretary-dispatcher. Dan graduated from the Minidoka County High School in 1969. He is a student at Brigham Young University majoring in Psychology. The couple is planning an August wedding.
