Early returns? file tax forms during January Want a faster refund this year? The Internal Revenue Service said today that all taxpayers who file their tux returns in January should get their refunds in four to five weeks. After January it may take six to eight weeks. Roland V. Wise, IRS District Dim-to-r for Utah, said that January filers gain about a advantage over those who file later because the 10 IRS service centers can process returns and approve refunds much faster early in the filing season when workloads are not heavy. Taxpayers who file early usually avoid making the errors that often occur in their rush to meet the April 15 deadline, said Mr. Wise. Those who wait until the last few weeks to file often fail to read the instructions carefully, neglect to sign the return, or forget to attach all schedules and W2 forms. These mistakes can delay a refund for us long as four additional weeks." To avoid the rush and receive an early refund of the money due them, Mr. Wise urged taxpayers to start getting their tax records together now. two-wee- k TELEVISION REPAIR all makes service calls cash and carry warrantee work on Trutone and Motorola DUCHESNE WESTERN AUTO 9 A.M. 738-200- -- 6 P.M. 2 MID) fi NEWS FROM: 1 4 STANDARD BALLARD Mrs. Telintha Rasmussen . . . 722-303- 7 MYTON Mri.
