A Christmas tree in the American Cancer Society office building in Salt Lake City will be decorated wit ornaments w ith the names of cancer victims, either as memorial recipients or honorees, on the ornaments backs. For each $5 donation made by a participant an ornament will be placed on the tree with the name specified by the participant on the back. In addition, an acknowledgment card will be sent to he person chosen by the participant. The donations will be used to fund American Cancer Society programs and cancer research in Utah. Dec. 22 The Sterling Singers will present a concert free to those 8 and over on Dec. 22 at 8 p.m. in the Bountiful Tabernacle. The evning will feature sacred Christmas music. The group has been together about three years and has performed at the Hale Theatre and at Assembly Hall on Temple Square. It was founded by Bountiful Resident Sterling Brimley.
