Rob Chugg, a Clearfield freshman, will stage Rock for Life '93. The concert will take place from 10 a.m. to midnight Saturday, Oct. 30 in the exhibition hall at the Davis County Fairgrounds, 151 S. 1100 W Farmington. Seven local rock and hard-roc- k bands will perform. Proceeds will be donated to Amber and Jessica Snyder of Dugway. The girls, ages four and five respectively, need some $500,000 for bone marrow transplants. Tickets cost $10. Chugg said thoughts of how he would feel if his own daughter contracted a deadly disease inspired him to organize the concert. Chugg said he also was inspired by area residents who held numerous fund-raiselast year for Matthew Yeaman, a Layton resident who suffered from leukemia. Yeaman died after having a transplant.
