Connors is 41 years old and has lived in Farmington for the past 1 years. He and his singersongwritcr wife, Cori, are the parents of four children who attend Farmington Jr. 1 High and Knowlton Elementary. Dave earned his bachelor's degree in political science from Yale University, where he participated and lettered in track and football. He earned a juris doctor degree from BYU. For the past two years, Dave has served as the president of the Farmington Area Baseball League (FABL). He helped organize the league in 1991 to relieve the city of the financial and time consuming burden of running the city's youth baseball program. FABL is a nonprofit charitable organization which serves over 700 Farmington Dave also children, ages coaches baseball and football for the Farmington Jr. High age teams. He has worked as a volunteer with various community and church groups including the PTA, Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Farmington Festival Days, and the American Cancer Society. Dave firmly believes in the 7. of representative concept government. He believes all citizens of Farmington should be fairly represented on city council. Farmington City Council is composed of five members. Only two members will be elected this November. The remaining three members all live within a few blocks of each other in southeast Farmington. He believes less government is better than more government. He believes taxes should be low and citizen input high. He believes in supporting good programs and activities for our youth--no- t through more government but through more volunteer involvement. He believes the city should support additional parks in south Farmington and in private business, Wayne and his wife decided to remain in Woods Cross. It's a community he loves. And it's a community that deserves the leadership Wayne can provide. And that's why, on Nov. 2, we're voting MYKI .ALTrEfSHWIE! for the Oakridge area.
