Valna spent her time attending the Ogden Temple while Thad attended meetings. Karen Hales took Bobby Hales to Ptovo last Friday for training sessions for Maple Del where he will be on the staff this summer. Mr. and Mrs. Veil Houghton and Mr. and Mis. Jerry Sorensen were in S.LC. last weekend for their Clean Vae products. Theora Ottley and her sister in law Linda Christensen, Centerfield, celebrated their birthdays Saturday with a family party at the park. To help them celebrate were their husbands Quentin Ottley and Terry Christensen and family, Mrs. Gertrude Christensen, Manti, Mr. and mis. Syl Sanderson and family, Gunnison, Mr. and Mrs. Moral Watts, and Mr. and Mrs. Dean Ottley and boys, Riverton. They had a family ball game and a nice visit. Anthony Christensen has been in the hospital in Richfield. We hope hell be feeling better soon, bob Boyter has moved into the home across the street from Theora Ottley. We welcome him bade to Aurora. Dan Thompsons brother Mr. and Mrs. Homer Thompson, Phoeniz, Arizona, were here last week visiting them. a held During the in Richfield, three Aurora Saturday boys raced their pinewood derby cars for district championships. Jessie Nielsen took district ,champion-shi- p in the 8 year olds, Jacob took champ in the 9 year olds and Jared Johnson had a lot of fun. Girls who sold the poppies were Jamie Laien, Kami Jensen, Jessica Jensen, Trac-i- e Bosshardt, Natalie Willardsen, Nicole Mickelsen, Trina Willardsen, Jennifer Johnson, Trisha Johnson, Angela Rasmussen, Tammy Hales, and Mary Bagley. Refreshments ' wfere served. 1 . - Mrs. Blain Poulson was in S.L.C. for a week visiting her children, Mrs. Gerritt Peterson and Mr. and Mrs. Gerry Poulson while Blain, Gerritt and Gail Heath went to Lake Powell fishing and camping. Also going with them was Blains brother in law, Ray Colby. The town board completed a project last week. They put up street signs. They used sturdy metal poles planted in cement.' Mrs. Russel Wilson and her son, Andy, flew to Winchester, Va. where they will spend a month with her mother, Mrs. Dellitt Lockhart, to see if the climate, etc., will help Andy get better from a serious excema problem he has. Mr. and Mrs. Vannoy Christensen accompanied their daughter, Mrs. Judy Fullmer and her son Morgan, to S.LC. and visited their children while Judy attended correlation meetings in connection with her job as nutrition coordinator. Mrs. Jay Lund held a piano recital for her students in her home Tuesday evening. Mr. and Mrs. Moylee Peterson and their son, Mr. and Mrs. Earl Peterson and family, S.LC., came down Saturday to watch their daughter, Denise, ride in the high school rodeo. They visited Sidney and Nellie Peterson and Newel and Aleen Olsen. Also visiting the Sidney Petersons were Richard and Monica Riding and baby of Richfield. He has three brothers, Sabin, Shane, and Jade and two sisters, Skyla and Tasha. His grandparents are Udell and Lou Gene Johnson, Woriand, Wyo., Mr. and Mrs. Fran De Biasi, Col., and great grandmother. Hazel Clegg, Ucon, Id. Udell and Lou Gene Johnson, Wyo., came over the weekend. Friday, they and sons Jody and Gordon and Tammy went to the PTOvo Temple for Gordon and Tammys wedding anniversary and had dinner in Provo. They hasted turkey dinner Sunday for their parents and John and Roxanne and family and Norman and Eliza Jensen and family, Centerfield. Mrs. Terry (Valerie) Hansen' and children, Sue Johnson and Jody Johnson were in Wyo. for Mothers Day and spent it with their parents.
