Knudsen is currently assistant manager at Jifiy Lube in Ogden. set Saturday at church DUP RUTH MALAN Lakeside Review correspondent KAYSVILLE Pioneer bonnets and aprons will be .the attire at the annual Daughters of the Utah Pioneers Davis County Members are encouraged to dress the part as an apron contest and a fashion walk will be among the events taking place at the jubilee on Saturday, May 7, in the cultural Hall at the Rock Chapel, 200 East and Center Street. The luncheon will begin at noon, but camp members are urged to come early to set up their tables. Checkers, Bonnets, and Aprons is the theme and cor for the occasion. de- Camps are asked to furnish checkered tablecloths and citizens rights and answer own utensils and table service. A crockpot stew of their choice, breadsticks or rolls, vegetable tray and fruit pie is the suggested menu. The beverage will be provided by the county board. Each camp is also asked to take two or three of the most beautiful afghans made by camp members for display. - Those entering the apron contest will make an apron of one yard of material with any trim they desire. Prizes will be given for the most clever use of scraps. Other awards will also be at 546-220- 1. FARMINGTON The Davis County Board of Education hon- ' ored Bonnie Middleton, language arts supervisor, who retires in June after 32 years in this school district. A native of Delta, Utah, Mrs. Middleton graduated from Utah State University and earned her Masters degree from BYU in reading. After a years teaching in Cedar City, she came' to Davis County in .1954 and taught at Layton Elementary for seven former Karma Lee Langston, and Robert D. Knildsen of Ogden. Z'-- l' to be a senior citizen to attend. The public is invited. On Thursday, May 12 a special roast beef dinner will be held at 5:30 p.m. to celebrate Senior Citizens Month. There will be entertainment and a volunteer will be for resrecognized. Call ervations or information on activities. A donation of $1.75 is suggested for the dinner. The Silver Age Center in Kaysville has changed the date of its blood pressure clinic for the month of May. The regular clinic will not be held on the first Thursday but has been changed to Thursday, May 19.
