Junior High: Choice Fish-burge- f ' , KAYSVILLE Two students have been chosen winners of a poster contest held during Bus Safety Week at Columbia Elementary School. Second grader Kasey Child and fifth grade student Nathan Hulse were presented $50 savings bonds for their winning posters. The contest is part of a national contest sponsored by the PTA. The winning posters will compete in the national contest where the winner will receive a $100 savings bond. Done in a medium chosen by the child, the posters depicted how children could be safer while getting on or riding the bus. The culmination of their studies takes place when the class is split into six groups of five or six students each. Names are chosen for the groups and they begin preparation for the special launch day. With each group's rocket painted and fit with an engine, the excitement begins.
