Morris Clifford Morris, 63, - of 351 Francis Ave., died Sunday, Oct. 18, 1987, at his home of respiratory failure. He was born July 21, 1924 in Og. den, a son of Earl E. and Mary E. Morris. He married Myrtle Ethelee Wesley - Dec. 11, 1951 in Ogden. The marriage ,was solemnized in the Salt Lake Tem- pie on May 12, 1965. She died Oct. 24, .1986. I He was reared and educated in OgLAYTON-Jame- s Lar-'rab- '- den. He had lived in Ogden for 29 years and in Layton for the past 34 years. He was a member of the Layton 11th LDS Ward, where he was active in the scouting program, was a home .teacher, genealogy teacher and finance clerk. He was a temple ordinance worker. He was a veteran on World War II, serving with the U.S. Marine Corps. Surviving are one son and one daughter, James Charles Morris, - Anderson, James W. Anderson, Mrs. John Carr (Marilyn) Lofgreen, and Mrs. John T. (Linda) Lewis, all of Milton; 21 grandchildren and 18 greatM. Bountiful; Linda B. Adams, Englewood, Colo.; six grandchildren. Also surviving are four brothers and five sisters, Sterling R. Morris, Mrs. Joseph (Lurlien L.) Florence, Mrs. Monte (Margie L.) Call, all of S. Ogden; George L. Morris, Riverside, Calif.; Earl W. Morris, David K. Morris, both of Roy; Mrs. George (Daisy E.) Hales, Etta M. Dawson, both of Ogden; Mrs. Ronald (Mary Opal) Urry, Fruit Heights. Services will be held Wednesday at 11 a.m. at the Layton 11th LDS Ward Chapel, 60 W. Gordon Ave., with Bishop Richard Allen officiating. Friends may call Wednesday at the church one hour prior to the services. Interment, Aultorest Memorial Park, Ogden. grandchildren. Also surviving are four sisters, Mrs. Leslie W. (Annie) Stoher, West Jordan; Mrs. Dale K. (Norma) Anderson, Ogden; Mrs. Eldred G. (Ruth) Brower, and Mrs. Ralph (Alice) Banner, both of Nys-sOre. He was preceded in death by one son, Wayne C. Weston. Funeral services were held Monday, Oct. 19, 1987 at the Myers Mortuary Chapel in Roy. Interment in the Roy City Cemetery. a, Wanda W. Clough SUNSET-Wand- LAYTON-Ne- d Joseph Sacco, 43, of 93 Brent Ave., died Sunday, Oct. 18, 1987 at Humana Hospital Davis North of a heart attack. He was born Dec. 13, 1943 in Ogden, a son of Frank Joseph and Faye Bemenderfer Dawson Sacco. He married Sue Bledsoe Dec. 2, 1986 in Ogden. He was reared in Ogden and attended St. Joseph Elementary and graduated from Davis High School in Kaysville. He completed several courses in electronic while serving with the Coast Guard. He retired from the U.S. Coast Guard as a Chief Petty Officer after 20 years of service. He traveled extensively while serving in the Coast Guard and had lived in California, Alaska and Tenn. He had lived in the Clearfield-Layto- n area the past six years. He received many commendations and awards during his military career, one being the last Light Keeper of Point Loma in San Diego, Calif. He worked at Hill Air Force Base as an electronic technician. He was a veteran of the Viet Nam War. Surviving are his wife of Layton, two sons and one daughter, Ned Thomas Sacco, Layton, Kevin Michael Sacco, Lakewood, Colo.; Mrs. Donald (Thersa) Boldin, Knoxville, Tenn.; one grandchild, three stepsons, James Bledsoe, Scott Edwards, Darryl Edwards, all of Thebes, son, Ariz; her mother, Sunset; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Amber Cripps, Hurricane; one brother and four sisters, Randy L. Watson, Sunset; Dale Jeani Baxter, Spangdahlem AFB, W. Germany; Carla R. Bridges, Amber L. Christiansen, both of Sunset, Vicki L. Christiansen, Clearfield. She was preceded in death by one sister. Services were Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Lindquist's Clearfield Mortuary, 1050 S. State, with Bishop Ronald E. Opp of LDS Ward officiating. Interment, Clearfield City Cemetery. the Sunset 3rd Alecia Whiting FRUIT HEIGHTS-Aleci- a Whiting, 10, of 1551 East Nicholls Rd., died Tuesday, Oct. 13, 1987, in Humana Hospital Davis North of accidental asphyxiation. She was born Jan. 24, 1977 in Murray, a daughter of Larry L. and Kaye Wadsworth Whiting. She had lived in Sandy, Huntsville and the past three years in Fruit Heights. She had attended Canyonview Elementary in Ogden and Valley Elementary in Huntsville. At the time of her death she was a fourth grade student at Morgan Elementary in Kaysville. She was a member of the Fruit Heights 6th LDS Ward where she was a member of the Valiant B primary III. Also surviving is his mother, of Clearfield; one brother and one sister, Ty Patrick Dawson, West Point; Mrs. Douglas (Judy) Adams, Clearfield. He was preceded in death by his stepfather and one brother. Services will be held Thursday at noon at Lindquists Layton Mortuary, 1074 N. Fairfield Rd., with Reverend James Land officiating. Friends may call at the mortuary Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to the services. Interment, Fort Douglas Cemetery, Salt Lake City, where military honors will be accorded by the American Legion Honor Guard. Alfred Weston Alfred Joseph Weston, 80, of 2418 N. Morgan Valley Drive, Milton, died Thursdav. Oct. 15, 1987 at McKay-De- e Marie Watson a Clough, 32, of 1425 N. 52 W., Apt. A, died Thursday, Oct. 15, 1987, in the LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City of injuries suffered from an assailant. She was born Aug. 8, 1955 in Oklahoma City, Okla., a daughter of Percy R. and Delores May Cripps Christiansen Watson. She married Kenneth R. Clough in 1973, in Ogden. She was reared in Utah and had spent the past 21 years in Sunset. She graduated from Clearfield High School. She was a member of the Sunset 3rd LDS Ward. She enjoyed being a homemaker. Surviving are her husband of Syracuse; two sons and one daughter, Danny L. Clough, Kenny R. Clough, Emmi D. Clough, all of Sunset. Also surviving are her father, Tuc- Ned J. Sacco . cancer. He was born Feb. 6, 1907, a son of Arthur H. and Eliza Burdett Weston. He married Ina J. Crittenden, July 21, 1930, in Farmington, the marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died June 18, 1978. He married Helen Brown Anderson, April 15, 1980 in Ogden. He worked for the D.R. & G. and U.P. Railroads and the Ogden Arsenal. He also worked at Hill Air Force Base where he retired in 1970. He was an active member of the Mil-t2nd LDS Ward. He was a gifted craftsman, enjoyed He fishing, hunting, and was a dedicated gardener and shared his harvest with love. He lived 73 years in Roy and lived the last 7 years in Milton. Surving are his widow of Milton, three daughters Mrs. E. Quinn (Afton) Jensen, Centerville; Mrs. Harvey R. (Helen) Layton, Bountiful; Mrs. M. Mike (Ina Marie) Gold, Kaysville; two step sons and two step daughters, Frank (Karey Vaun) Hoffmann, Logan. Also surviving are her grandparents, Lamar and Uarda Whiting, Vaughn and Nina Wadsworth, all of Idaho Falls, Lavinia NorIdaho: ton, Burley, Idaho. Services were Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Fruit Heights Stake Center, 170 N. Mountain Rd., with Bishop Lynn of the Fruit Heights 6th LDS Ward officiating. He was born July 10, 1905 in Bountiful, a son of David and Eliza Dittmore LAYTON-Milto- W. Call Sr. He married Ethel Thurgood Oct. 27, 1926 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. She died March 2, 1979. He had been a farmer and cattleman. He enjoyed farming and was very successful! in this occupation. He had lived in Bountiful for 26 years and the remainder of his life in West Layton. He attended Davis High School. He was a active High Priest in the Layton 2nd LDS Ward, where he held numerous positions. He was president of the Davis Coun- Beet Growers Association, of the Utah State Beet Growers Association. He was former president and director of the West Lay-to- n ty Irrigation Company. Surviving are two sons and two daughters, Robert T. Call, Milton Dean Call, Mrs. Donald F. (LaRue) DeWitt and Mrs. Dennis H. She was born Dec. 31, 1933 in Velarde, N.M., a daughter of Damian and Senaida Vigil Lujan. She married Nick Cordova in 1955 in Velarde, N.M. She had been a school teacher for the Ogden City School District for 15 years. She was reared in New Mexico and had lived in Clearfield for the past 37 years. She graduated from high school in New Mexico. She graduated from Weber State College in 1974 with a bachelors' degree in education. She was a member of the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, where she sang with the Spanish Choir. She was a member of the Utah Education Association. Surviving are her husband of Clearfield; two daughters, Ms. Yvonne Cordova; Clearfield; Mrs. Gil (Patsy) Alvarez, Ogden; two grandchildren. Also surviving are her mother of Velarde, N.M.; one brother and five sisters, Joe D. Lujan, Ogden; Bernie L. Sanchez, Clara L. Montoya, Romona Salazar, all of Verlarde, N.M.; Lupe L. Martinez, Elko, Nev.; Carmen Martsch, Washington, D.C. She was preceded in death by her father and one sister.
