The announcement was made recently by Nancie Nalder, national director. The company, which now has over 160 locations across the nation, originated eight years ago in Davis County. Sunshine Generation is a business which instructs children in singing, dancing, music theory and voice culture and helps children foster a feeling of through performing regularly. Clad in their bright orange and yellow uniforms, the group performs monthly, free of charge as a community service for various functions. The new area directors say they intend to make Sunshine Generation a meaningful, enjoyable, growing and learning experience for children. Delanys Sandwich Villa is located by Mervyns on the upper level off center court. Pearl and Alan Haney are owners of Delanys Sandwich Villa. They operate a similar shop in an Ogden mall. Mrs. Haney said they wanted to expand to the Layton area when they found an opening in the Layton mall. Because of the growth in Layton she said she and her husband felt the Lay- - ton location would make a good choice for expansion. Delanys Sandwich Villa features 35 different sandwiches, fries and onion rings, and cold drinks. A house favorite is the steak sandwich, but french dip and roast beef are close runners-uaccording to Mrs. Haney. She said Delanys is known for the generous portions of meat used on their sandwiches and their reasonable prices. Each day the shop features a p, special. She said the shop has also es tablished a tradition for fast, friendly, and efficient service to customers. All sandwiches are prepared fresh and served on a h hoagie bun, she said. Another favorite at Delanys d is the panzarotti, a turnover filled with meat and cheese and served with an Italian sauce. She said it has been a favorite with customers at both the Ogden and Layton locations.
