' The class will start on April 8 and run through April 25. It will be held on Tuesday and Thursdays from 6 to 9 p.m. at the Steed Park Complex located at the comer of 300 North and 1000 West, Clearfield. Cost for the class is $4 and you must be 1 1 Vi years of age to register for the class. Registrations are now being taken Monday through . The format that was used in . the past of having special entertainment throughout the day has been very popular. Activities of all kinds for the whole day will be continued again this year, along with a parade, baseball games, and a fireworks show. Booth reservations wil be accepted on a basis. Only one booth of each kind will be allowed to sell - at the celebration. The charge for the booth or a ' space will be $30. Also a permit to sell on the parade route will be $20. Clearfield looking for softball players A new softball season will soon be here and the Clearfield Parks and Recreation Department staff is gearing up for another year. All teams interested in returning must register at the Clearfield Parks and Recreation Office, 40 S. 125 E., Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. starting Monday, March 17 and ending Friday, April 4. Teams fees must be paid at time of registration to guarantee a slot. This year the mens program will consist of six slowpitch leagues to be played on Tuesday or Wednesday nights.
