Show Outstanding student at Job Corps selected CLEARFIELD Stephanie Lucero has been named Outstanding Student of the Month at Clearfield Job Corps Center. Stephanie arrived in Clearfield from Denver, Colo, on Sept. 5, 1984. She is carrying a 3.0 grade point average in high school and will soon receive her diploma. She also is pursuing a certificate in the clerical trade. He is a member of the presidency of the First Quorum of the Seventy of the LDS Church. The primary objective of the society is to recognize and encourage superior scholarship in all academic disciplines, Thorstenson said. The society was founded in 1897 and has 240 chapters in 49 states, the District of Columbia, the Philippines and Puerto Rico. Seventy graduate students receiving degrees April 18 and in the upper 10 percent of their class were invited to join the society. A total of 305 upperclassmen with 90 or more semester hours and a 3.75 grade point average or higher were also initiated into the organization.
