This is an increase of about three inches since the beginning SALT LAKE CITY The newest measurement of the level of the Great Salt Lake shows the lakes February rise was below its normal rate. The U.S. Geological Survey, which measures the lake level every two weeks, gauged lake level readings at 4.209.15 feet above sea level on Fridav. of February . The normal February rise, according to the survey, is about 4.1 inches. Lake watchers expect the body of water to break records it set last year after peaking at a centu-ry-oi- d high of 4.209.25.
