The Dixie College Broadcast Club and the multicultural and learning centers on campus will be showing movies on selected Thursday and Friday nights for the next few weeks. Friday night, the Dixie College Broadcast Club began their "midnight movies" by showing six new releases at The Cinemas, located on Main Street. Movies shown were: Message in a Bottle, Simply Irresistible, Shes All That, Payback, Shakespeare in Love, and Blast From the Past. While regular admission during the day is six dollars, tickets for Dixie College students were only four dollars. "This is a good deal for students who want to see a good er first-han- d. Also, as a part of African-America- n History Month, the multicultural and learning centers on campus are collaborating to show three movies. Each will be shown at 6 p.m. on a Thursday night in the Dunford Auditorium, located in the Browning Building. All showings will be free of charge.
