The City Council has voted 3 2 to disband its two-ma- n pol ce force, after hearing a report from an auditor that the city is broke and deeply in debt. That means Ammon will go back undar law enforcement provided by the Bonneville County Sheriffs Office under contract. Sgt. Auditor Walter Clapp said the city has $56,000 worth of red ink left on the ledger from last year and the city is past due on a $64,400 sewer bond payment.
