Show TALK IS ENJOYED The talk given by Forest Ranger H. A. Wickman before the Parents and Theological classes of the local Sunday school last Sunday was much enjoyed by all. In a very interesting manner the speaker proceeded to show that the government was truly solicitious of the welfare of the people and had their well-being well-being steadily at heart when any new rule or .regulation was placed into effect. He gave numerous examples of road and trail building, study for i poisonous plants, protection of the j water shed for the conservation of the j valley's water supply, and many other ' things that are done with the people's welfare truly at heart. He told how everyone may secure an allotment of pine trees and of how these might be used for decoraling cemeteries and public grounds. The plans for re-for- estation of burned out and dead timber ' plots were also explained and a great i deal of good accomplished in the minds 1 of those who were fortunate enough to hear the talk. |
