Show ORANGEVILLE John W. Jackson and wife and son Jeremiah, and wife, of Lyman, Wayne County; and Thomas Jackson and wife of Venice, were visiting with their brother-in-law, daughter and sister, Mr. and Mr3. John K. Reid, the past week. Their visit came as a great surprise sur-prise as the three had not met together in ten years They returned to their homes Friday morning. There is only one other sister, who resides in Payson. The Mutuals gave a successful program pro-gram and dance Thursday evening, but the lights were almost a failure. They seem to be poorer this winter than usual and it is especially bad on a night when they should be at their best. Let us hope for an improvement. The water is now well in use by the. stockholders of the water system who nearly all have it in their houses. This, is a move in the right direction. The musicale given last Sunday night for the benefit of the piano fund, was a great success, quite a nice sum being realized and every number on the pro-, gram was enjoyed by the audience. |
