Show PUBLIC SCHOOL NOTES The request for contributions towards the battleship "Utah" silver service brought out a very ready response, in- j somuch that it netted the local district school, the sum of $9.55. This sum represents an average of seven cents per child of those making contributions. The cause is a good one and those who have given their dime or nickle will never regret it. The beginning of spring does not seem to affect the boys and girls with spring fever this year as is usually the case, for no one could wish for better work or more interest in their work than what they are doing now. The teachers too, seem to be imbued with greater energy and spirit than ever. |
