Show OYSTER STEW A FINANCIAL SUCCESS In accordance with the well laid plans the delicious oyster stew was served Friday at noon and was continued until midnight. Too much cannot be said in praise of the Castledale Relief Society, who prepared and served the lunch, for everything went off without a hitch. The dance, too, was a social feast. The only thing occurring to cause any deviation from the program was the eating of three, numbers in the prize cake which should have taken the prize. There were three prizes awarded and three more that should have been awarded. Harry Brandon received first and last prizes, and L. V.Acord was awarded second prize. ' - There we're several Visitors from other towns present. The proceeds of the whole affair amounted to $84.05 which was turned over ov-er to Bishop P. I. Akelund for the ward I indebtedness of the new academy. We wonder if the ward could ever succeed without this excellent Relief Society? |
