Show WATAUCA DEVELOPMENT COMPANY FILE ARTICLES County Clerk Bowen has received for filing the articles of incorporation of the Watauga Development Company. The articles designate Spokane, Washington Wash-ington as the principal place of business of the company and appoint A. C. Dennis Den-nis as their Emery county representative. representa-tive. The capital stock is $300,000 divided di-vided into 3000 shares of $100 each. The business for which they have incorporated incor-porated includes everything connected with oil and mining or which could be in any way connected. The incorporators are P. Welch, A. C. Dennis, Ed F. White, E. M. Brown and C. O. Peterson, all of Spokane except ex-cept Mr. Dennis who has charge of the drilling at Watauga. This is the company com-pany who put in the first drill and have been diligently at work since last spring to the south and east of Emery. They have a well down about to where the oil ought to be tapped but whether they have made a find or not is a matter about which they are not talking. Be that as it may they have spent thousands of dollars here and if the oil is here we would like to see them come out winners win-ners in proportion to the enterprise and money expended. |
