Show LEASING STATE LANDS IN NATIONAL FORESTS The State of Utah has approximately 200,000 acres of surveyed State lands within the National Forests. The a-greement a-greement between the State Land Board and the Forest Survey was terminated ter-minated a year ago and the State Land Board is leasing these lands direct to citizens who desire to use them for grazing purposes. The minimum annual rental at which the State will lease these lands is four per cent of the appraised value, which appraised value is usually from $1.00 to $2.50 per acre. Sealed applications for two to five years accompanied oy one year's rental plus $5.00 on bids, are being received by the Stat'' Land Board and will be open on February 8th and all applications applica-tions received up to that time will be treated as simultaneous applications. Anv of the lands remaining unleased after that date, may be applied for in usual manner. The State Land Board has decided not to sell any of these lands at present.
