Show LOCAL PEOPLE INTERESTED ! IN MINERAL DEPOSITS 'It's better than a gold mine," the promoters of a new found paint say. The mine was discovered in ttie south and eastern part of Emery county on the Cedar mountain by A. E. Smith and and a company was immediately formed and a location was made an 1 recorded. An assay was obtained on the ore and it went 7 cents per poun 1 in its present state or $140 per ton. There are four distinct colors in the claim, red, yellow, mahogany and green. The green, it is said, is found in small pieces, while the other can be taken out in any quantity. One feature this paint ore has in its original form above others is that it possesses an oil base. It is real soft and can be crumble 1 with the fingers, but it takes almost a lye water to remove re-move it from the fingers. The location is within six miles of the railroad and can b; e isily develop'!. Tnere are none of the stockholders who have a mint of monev ail we ar v-ry nopeful as to the outcome of the proposition.
