Show PUBLIC SCHOOL NOTES School, this year, is a pleasure to all. Every study pisses off with such a zip that tne only long pjrioJs of the day are intermissions. The entire school, yet more directly the fourth and fifth grades, were caused to mourn last week in the death of one of their loving schoolmates, Douglas Hickman. Our weekly fire drill proved a great success this week. Our 210 pupils marched out of the building in 52 seconds . The district school ball team played nine of the E. S. A. boys Thursday, the former winning by a score of 12 to 4. Practice up boys and come again. Our Thanksgiving program, rendered Wednesday evening,' proved a success and showed the pupils' talent in the rendition of their parts. Our monthly averages for the third month were very good. Atlanta Berg heads the seventh grade with an average of 95 per cent and Una Seelv heads the sixth with 94 per cent. We expect to do better work from now on and invite you all to come and see us. |
