Word has been received of the deDth of Rasmus Nelson at Ferron. We have not been favored with an obituary but are expecting it. Seth Allen and wife left Friday for Salt Lake and expect to be off to Denver Den-ver Wednesday. They certainly go with plenty of good wishes. Mr. Bowen will do deputy county clerk work this month so as to become familiar with the office before assuming full charge the first of the year. Castledale thus secures a valuable addition to her citizenship. The adjourned session of the Emery county district court is to commence on Monday, December 32th. The case for which the special session was set is to decide the ownership of the water now used by the big ranch at Rochester, but it is likely that several other cases will be tried. Little Dorothy Snow, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. S. P. Snow, Jr., has been very sick this week with intestinal trouble that caused a high fever. The best of medical attention and such nursing nurs-ing as only anxious parents can give have been required to carrv her through the attack. At this writing she is much better. Mrs. Dr. Coleman and the children returned from Denver Thursday where she had been getting expert treatment for her baby daughter. She brings the little one home very much improved in health and a complete restoration seems probable. The return of the family has done wonders in the way of improving improv-ing the spirits of the doctor. The people of Castledale and Orange-yille Orange-yille are talking over the proposition of installing a molasses mill the coming season to be centrally located between the two towns. Several citizens have been talked to regarding the matter and have promised tp plant an acre or so a piece in order to promote the industry This will be an excellent move as it would be much better to get the genuine article than to use so much of the glucose glu-cose article that is at present toted upon up-on the market.
