Show CRN RiVER BRID3E ACCEPTED AC-CEPTED BYMiVIISSIONERS A joint meeting of the Emery and Grand county boards of county commissioners com-missioners was held at Green River on Friday, November 15th, lrfiO, for tne purpose of passing on the completed work of the bridge there. J. H. Johnsen of Grand county acted as chairman anJ Mark Tuttle as secretary. secre-tary. G. SI. Oliver, foreman for the Alidland Brulge Co., reported the bridge completed and ask that tne same be ac- cepted and tne bondsmen released. Rooert Woodrulf, inspector of the work, reported that all- parts hal been d ne according to specifications and that there was good work and material throughout. After some discussion by mitio.i of Commissioner Larsen of Emery Em-ery seconded by Commissioner Brown of Grand the work was accepted. Inspector Woodruff was allowed $5J0 for inspection the same to be paid one half by each county. A proper sig.i was authorized for each end of the bridge. After the meeting and acceptance a banquet was tendered the visiting commissioners com-missioners and tnose who had been engaged en-gaged in the overseeing of the work on the bridge. Tne report is that it was a spread fit for a king and that the material ma-terial comforts were mjde all the more agreeable by the heartiness of the reception re-ception and the genuine good fellowship of the occasion. The bridge is said to be a beauty and one of the finest in Utah. |
