Their marriage was later sealed in the Manti Temple. Upon returning from the navy, he became a logging contractor for the Whiting Brothers on the North Kaibab Forest, and moved to Fredonia, Arizona. There he helped to found Kaibab Industries. Until his retirement he was a key executive with Kaibab Industries, of which he was a cofounder. He moved from Fredonia to Flagstaff in 1960, and on to Phoenix with Kaibab in 1967. His wife Aleen died on January 22, 1982 Kaibab has been in the Top 100 privately owned companies in Arizona for over 15 years. He was also a director of the Oil Marketers Association for many years. His life was one of service. He Inter-mounta- held many leadership positions with the L.D.S. He was active in Boy Scout fundraising. He served on The American Indian Services Board for many, years. He married Fern Randall on August 21, 1982. He is survived by his wife Fern, his sister, Edwina Dastrup and his children: Joyce and Dan Packard, Glenna and Delbert Tingey, Myrna and Dale Borden, Debra and Bob Lewis, Terry and Larry Schnepf, Trey and Tammy Whiting, J ason and Nichole Whiting, Rodney Palimo, Brenda Kutch, Charles Kutch and 36 Grandchildren and 29 Great Grandchildren.
