The Mens Fredonias Jerry Johnson took If you didnt get a chance to 4X400m Relay took 5th at 1st in the Shot Put throwing by Camberly Brown attend the track meet Saturday the 25th of March, we have listed the placing of our Kanab, Fredonia and Valley athletes that placed in the top eight of their events and others that participated in the track meet. We ended up having 13 schools involved in the 1st Annual Cowboy Invitational Meet and 356 student athlete entries. The day went very smooth and was on or ahead of schedule most of the day. We know that there couldnt have been a track meet if there wouldnt have been such an interest and enthusiasm in the community. Many volunteered time and money to make the Invitational come together. We had nothing but praises from the other schools coaches about the meet and its organization and togetherness. We sincerely believe that this will become an event that is looked forward to and enjoyed by high school athletes, their coaches and spectators for years to come. At this time we would like to thank every one that came out to help, even if it was for a few hours. A special thanks goes to the KHS Coaches Sherida Allen and Ken Brown for their interest and involvement with the athletes at Kanab High School. Without their commitment to the community, we couldnt have pulled it off. To Karen Kelly the meet referee, who kept us all organized and running. Harold Hamblin, the meet director, for his time, organization and involvement with the track meet, and all the others that helped with the running of the meet. Thank You.
