The game was 'tight all the way to the finish, but Enter- prise slipped away with the one run win. Kanab was looking good in the first inning after Matt Pepper knocked in Sam Noel for the first run of the game. The Cowboys werent done yet, however. Both teams were & out-mann- ed and outsized as the Sand Devils won each game handily. The 7th graders started out a little sluggish scoring just the winning run. 12 points in the first half. Page, 5 for Noel Sam pitched innings on the other hand, had a solid the Cowboys, giving up 4 hits and four runs. Josh Blasdell pitched half scoring 25. The second half was just about the same as the 3, allowing 2 hits and 3 runs. ended up with Page on top 58-2- 9. Sterling Glover had 11 points to lead Kanab. Kanabs 8th grade squad didnt have much luck in their game either. Size was a huge factor in this game as Page rebounded the ball many more times than Kanab.
