The success of Public Lands Day was largely the' result of the long hours and hard work of the BLM organizer, Wendy Barlow, along with team mem Commissioner Norm Carroll for emceeing the awards ceremony at the end of the days activities. The program was enhanced by a speech from Tom Fry, Deputy Director, Bureau of Land Management, Washington D.C., and his participation in the days activities.
