Show Dixie Speaks Congratulations on new library took place The Kanab City Library ground-breakin- g like We 17. to would October warmly congratuFriday, late the library staff, library board. Friends of the Library, and the Kanab City mayor and city council for their hard work bringing the project to fruition. I couldn't help but notice how poorly attended the ground-breakin- g was. About half of those in attendance were Japanese visitors, a country that places a high value and priority on learning. Listening to councilman Holland recite the library' s history, 1 was struck with the importance early settlers placed on having a library. Sacrifice, expense and hard work went into insuring that Kanab had an adequate library. We need to check our priorities and do the same. Letters to the Editor What is your opinion?
