' SOUTHERN UTAH NEWS Community Long Valley Senior Citizens Obituaries Vaughn Reese Anderson state Vaughn Reese Anderson, age 59, passed away on April 3, 1997 at the University of Utah Medical Center. He was born on December 7, 1937 in Kanab, to J. Dallas and Lila Reese Anderson. He married Ilene Robinson on July 5, 1957 in Kanab. Their marriage was later solemnized in the St. George LDS Temple. Vaughn was bom in Kanab and was raised in Glendale. In 1957, he married Ilene and they lived there for twenty years. While living in Kanab, Vaughn owned his own TV repair and auto parts shop. He was the manager of a service station. He worked for Kaibab Lumber as a Cat Skinner, and also worked at Petrolane and Arizona Fuels. Vaughn then moved to Cedar City where he lived for one year. In 1979, he moved to St. George for two years then settled in Santa Clara. Vaughn was a member of many civic organizations when he was younger including JCs (Junior Chamber of Commerce) and the Fire Department. Survivors include his wife Ilene Anderson of Santa Clara, a son Carl Vaughn Anderson of Tuscon, Arizona; a daughter Connie (Hal) Sorenson of Salt Lake City; and four grandsons; his parents Dallas and Lila Indiana, Sacramento, California, Peach Springs, Arizona, Seligman, Arizona, Lupton, Arizona, Glen Canycn City, Utah, and Fredonia, Arizona. Survivors include his wife of Fredonia; his three children; six grandchildren: Audra Delgadillo, Aaron Long, Rachel Long, Amanda Choate, Paige Choate, and Jameson Choate; two great grandchildren: Maverick and Christian McCune.
