Utah State Parks and Recreation reports golf fee increases The Utah State Parks and Recreation Board has approved green fee increases at all four state park golf courses for the 1997 season. A golf team committee, created by Utah State Parks and Recreation, made the fee recom- mendations during the January state parks board meeting. Accordingto Jim Harland, golf team committee chair, the committee will discuss and evaluate issues facing state park golf courses and review green fees annually by market area. New fees at Palisade State Park Golf Course are $8.00 for nine holes and $ 16.00 for a round of 18. Just last July, a grand opening was held at the Palisade course to dedicate nine new 72-pholes, creating this course. A highlight of this scenic course in Sterling is the spectacular canyon shot on the 13th hole.
