Show SOUTHERN UTAH NEWS Opinion D 4 WEDNESDAY APRIL 9. im Speaks s Hats off to the Valley High School Sterling Scholar students who took home three first place, and three runner-u- p awards in the stiff academic competition. They participated in the challenging regional contest against thirteen other schools, including many much larger. Students competing in their respective categories were the very cream of the crop from their schools. State officials said this was the first time this feat has been accomplished by any one school, in state academic history. You can't help but be amazed. Here an extremely-sma- ll school goes up against some of the biggest region schools, and purely and simply, whoops them. The competition these students faced was phenomenal. The Valley High School staff is obviously doing something right. Their balanced approach to academics and activities is paying off, by virtue of the students they are producing. The SUN would like to congratulate the school and students for all their hard work. We are proud of your success! extra-curricul- ar Letters to the Editor What is your opinion?
