Show 4 School SOUTHERN UTAH NEWS WEDNESDAY APRIL 3. 1996 Public Health Week April English 1- -7 Vaccinations are generally monthsofage. Boosterdoses of DTP, Polio, and MMR are needed when a child is 6 years of age. If a child is behind on vaccinations, heshe can get back on schedule without startingover. Dont be fooled by the term childhood diseases: adults can catch them too and, when they do, they are likely to be more seriously affected than children. Adults should receive a tetanus diptheria vaccine every ten years. Adults over age 65 and those with chronic illnesses should also receive an annual flu shot and possibly a one time pneumonia shot. Public Health Week is April To Celebrate Success in public health, the Southwest Utah Public Health Department will be having free childhood immunization clinics. All children in the S.W. District will have the opportunity to receive their shots without any cost to the parents. They will be in Kanab on April 4 8 4-- 1-- 7. from 1-- 5 p.m. You've come a long way baby and Pioneer Heritage was presented last Thursday Kanab High School, Middle School and Elementary School evening by students.
