Show School SOUTHERN UTAH NEWS WEDNESDAY APRIL 5, 1995 Valley High newsmakers By Stacey Heaton Valley wins 19 medals 24-2- team consists of: Abbey Gleason, Julie Skouguard (chairman), Jennifer Spencer, Amber Hoyt, Cynthia Nelson, Luke Stevens, Colette Hoyt and Aurelia Johnson. They will be going to nationals for receiving a gold! Shelley Bauer and Bridget Hoyt will also be going to nationals for the Chapter Showcase event. Stacey Heaton got a silver in the Job Interview event. The Junior Parliamentary team consists of: Emily Heaton (Chairman), Misty Griffiths, Beverly Glover, Jodie Heaton, Tiffany Anderson, Angie Hoyt and Mindy Chamberlain. They received a Bronze. Jessica Reese also received a Bronze for her event which was Focus on Children. Tricia Taylor was awarded a scholarship for her outstanding work in FHA. Julie Skouguard didnt just stop with a gold; she went all the way and became a state officer.
