Thank you Dear Editor: The Lloyd and LaVona Baker family wishes to thank their neighbors and friends who have been so helpful and concerned during the past few weeks, while both of them have been dealing with serious illnesses. Many people have stopped to visit, brought food and helped with various duties. We cant begin to thank so many of you for your kindness, but we are extremely grateful. We want to thank the wonderful nurses and doctors at our hospital who went above and beyond the call of duty, and did it often. We are thankful to Dr. Dadwal, the nursing staff and the staff at the clinic, and especially Dr. Ott. The extra time and caring that you granted our family is rare these days, and we are lucky to have you in our town. Sincerely, Lloyd and LaVona Baker family KC Hospital is top notch Dear Editor: Recently, I had reason to enter the emergency room at Kane County Hospital when I was visiting Utah from Arizona. Being that we were not in our hometown, of course I was nervous to enter a hospital that I was not at all familiar with. My fears were greatly dissipated shortly after I walked in the door. To all the staff at Kane County Hospital ER - Dr. Ott, Georgia, Jaime, Lou Anne, Dr. Pandya, Elizabeth, Jeanette, Leah, a nurse that had the early shift on July 5 - Im sorry I didnt get your name, the front desk secretary, the technician that did my ultrasound, the pharmacist that came out in the evening to fill my prescription, Betty at the Treasure Trails Motel and anyone else we may have forgotten, we wish to express our deepest gratitude. The care that I received from the staff at the hospital was beyond courteous and caring. Their treatment by far exceeded our expectations and the compassion from all those present was exemplary. My mother who was with me is a registered nurse and she shared the same feelings that we had and was comforted at the care and conduct. She has not seen such compassion in a long time. No one wants to find themselves in the 4 WEDNESDAY AUGUST 6, 2003 www.barrysajrtoons.com NEVER WON A BLUE RIBBON 'TIL I ENTERED THIS COW WITH A I 003 MAKEOVER situation of needing to go to the emergency room, although the situation is unavoidable at different times in life. It is so comforting to know that in 2003 there are still wonderful, caring people out there. It gives us inspiration for the children we hope to have in the, future. Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts. Sincerely, Johanna and Matthew Bazzill Cottonwood, Arizona Proud of graduate Dear Editor: I am proud to announce that my son, Quentin M.
