Though we had at least a crash a day out there, no one was seriously hurt. Once again the potential was there, but seatbelts and motorcycle helmets prevailed! I do have to feel sorry for that poor family from Germany. What are the odds that you would come all the way to Utah and end up in two accidents in less than a weeks time? Once again, no one was seriously hurt, but that has to put a damper on your vacation plans! And I did not forget the two local folks that were transported to the hospital in the one accident.... we are very glad you will both be okay! As one can see? we are still having a major problem with impaired drivers out there. My Troopers are stoppingarresting several impaired drivers a week. Combine this with the city and the county and these numbers are getting way too high (no pun intended)! The rule of thumb usually states that if we are getting this many off the road, how many are still out there? As you can see these arrests are being made at all hours of the day and night, so once again be careful out there. Please have a safe and happy week.
