Roy and Carol Langford took over ownership of the retail outlet a few months ago. The Shirt Shack is located in Antelope Square Shopping Center. Mrs. Langford said she and her husband wanted to own a small business to help provide work ex- MM periences for their five children. Daughters Camille and Kris work as clerks in the store after school and on Saturdays. The three younger children, LeAnn, Greg, and Jason, help out with flyers, cleaning, and occasional clerking. Langford takes care of the bookwork and Mrs. Langford works in the store durmg the day. Mrs. Langford said they specialize in providing shirts for teams and clubs who might want a special logo. She said they can design a personalized logo to specific requirements. School mottos are specially ' popular as are specially designed shirts for family reunions and other gatherings. Mrs. Langford said it is a favorite gift from grandparents to children out of state. She said her customers are the best part of the business and each day they bring more exciting ideas. One young man had a shirt made up for his girl friend that included his marriage proposal. Another mature woman who was marrying ordered one that said Im not the grandmother. Im the bride. It seems we always have fun with the people who stop in, Mrs. Langford said. The Shirt Shack is open from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturdays, and is closed on Sundays.
