Show Lakeside Review North, Wednesday, February 13, 1985 4A Students Cheer Royalaires to Top Region Spot With Roy High School students cheering them on. members of the Royalaires drill team were the stars of the Region One show Monday night. They swept in the best overall performance award, in addition to best dance, military and novelty rou- .IS$ yii . ist cr.v tines. The competition was held at Weber High School in Pleasant View, with precision drill teams from Box Elder, Weber, Bonneville. Roy, Layton and Clearfield high schools vying for the awards. Entering the dance lloor draped with a huge, long the novelty drill dragon costume, the Royalaires award, after performing a kung-f- u dance. The team's instructor, Suvi Jensen, said she was proud of the girls and their effort.
