He ws born April 22, 1908 in Vernal, Utah to Roscoe S. and Louie Judd Musser and married Margaret Ehlers on October 13, 1927 in Salt Lake City. Lovisa Jolley Day Celebrates Ninetieth Birthday Lovisa Jolley (Mrs. Heber M.) Day will celebrate her 90th birthday on the 15th of April. She will be honored at an open house on April 23rd between the hours of 2:00 and 5:00 p.m., at the Murray 2nd ward, 5200 South 700 West. She requests no gifts. Lovisa has been active in the LDS church, serving in many positions and still "gets her Visiting Teaching done each month." She has held this position for 72 years. She married Heber M. Day on January 20, 1916 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. They served a stake LDS mission together, and then were called to the Cumorah Mission in Palmyra, New York, from January 1966 to October 7 William served an LDS mission in Germany and Austria from 1927 to 1930 and then served in the Murray 6th ward bishopric for three years and as Bishop for six years. He has attended the Chinese LDS Branch for 12 years where he instructs the Gospel Doctrine class. He has worked for the U.S. Department of Agriculture in the sugar beet improvement program, at the U.S. Smelter and in real estate and insurance. He retired from working at the Parking Service in 1983. William is the father of eight children: Janet (Mrs. George) Cook, Erda; Mildred (Mrs. R. Glen) Meyers, Salt Lake; Thomas Judd (Loralee) Musser, Cedar City; Joy (Mrs. Russel) Strohm, Salt Lake; Judy (Mrs. Ken) Taylor, Springville, Myma (Mrs. Son) Davis, West Valley; Karert Musser, Alexandria, Virginia and NaDean Musser of Sandy. He also has 38 grandchildren and 29 1968. Her husband died on February 29, 1984. She still lives at the family home, takes care of her garden and visits with family and OBITUARIES friends.
