Show 4 THE GREEN SHEET Thursday, April 21, 1988 SPORTS Murray Holds Off Granite Friday In 4-- 3 Pitchers Duel At Ken Price MURRAY. Murray and Granite, who played a 3 pitchers battle last Thursday, were both rained out in their games on Tuesday. Murray, who was to play South at Ken Price, has rescheduled that game for Wednesday (after press time), while Granite, which to host Judge, has was rescheduled that game for tomorrow (Friday). Murray will play a big game today (Thursday) against Jordan on Jordans field, will play Judge next at Judge (Rosewood) Tuesday and will then host Tooele on Thursday, April 28. Granite will be at home today (Thursday) against Tooele, plays Judge on Friday, hosts West next 4-- Tuesday and then will play South at Derks Field on Thursday, April 28. All action will start at 3:30 p.m. Murray 4, Granite 3 from there. The Farmers tied it at one in the fourth when singles by Mark Niederhauser, Paul Gines and Corey Langston accounted for the run. Murray Babe Ruth 13-1- 5 Play Opens Over Past Week MURRAY. Action opened in the division of the Murray Babe Ruth League over the past week with DeMass overcoming Iverson 12-- 2 behind the pitching of Ben Bamum. Bamum pitched four innings of no-h- it baseball, while striking out nine of 12 batters. DeMass ended up with 13 hits, including two by David Lewis, with three rbis, and three each by Barnum and Brian Laird.
